Kash Kamp Trick Billionaire Musiq (KKTBM) recording artiste Yung6ix is gearing up for the release of his long awaited debut studio album ’6ix O’ Clock’.

The critically acclaimed rapper who is popularly known as the king of the south has a packaged 16 track album (14 standard tracks and 2 bonuses) boasting an international collaboration with South African top hip-hop duo DA L.E.S as well as guest appearances from top Nigeria acts like M.I, Ice Prince, Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Phyno, Olamide, Naeto C, YQ and label-mate Percy.

The release date of the hotly anticipated LP has not been confirmed but it will be available in stores soon. Check out the official artwork and tracklist of ’6ix O’ Clock’.

Man ties his triplets, four other children to wheelbarrow; begs for buyers in Owerri

It was like a scene from a Nollywood movie recently in Owerri, Imo State capital when a father tied his seven children, including his triplet, to a wheelbarrow and was heading to an unknown destination before officials of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development stopped him.

It was observed that the 44-year-old man simply identified as Israel Dike is a native of Odenkume, Obowo Local Government Aarea of Imo State, but resides in Ugwu Ekwema, Egbu Road, Owerri.

The children’s hands were firmly tied to a wheelbarrow while the man was soliciting for buyers for the children, saying he could no longer fend for them.

A staff of the ministry told newsmen in Owerri that, “Following a tip off, a high powered team led by the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Nma Onyechere, quickly went and rescued the children.”

Apart from disclosing that he planned selling some of them with a view to enabling him take proper care of others, Dike equally lamented that Governor Rochas Okorocha put him in the present predicament.

“Owelle Okorocha is the cause of what I am passing through today. He made me a promise in the past and has failed to redeem it till today,” Dike said.

Speaking to newsmen at the scene, the Commissioner described Dike as a “depressed man, who is mentally derailed.”

While urging Dike’s wife to go for family planning, the Commissioner however promised that government would carefully ascertain the level of the man’s mental problem.

Onyechere told newsmen that the Ministry would take up the issue.

Niger Government closes 26 private hospitals for alleged unprofessional conducts

The Niger Ministry of Health on Wednesday said that it sealed 26 private hospitals for allegedly operating illegally and other unprofessional conducts.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr Ibrahim Sule, said this when he briefed newsmen on the performance of the ministry in 2013 and it projects for 2014.

He said 10 of the clinics were close down permanently for employing quack medical personnel, while 16 others being investigated were temporarily close down.

Sule said the ministry pharmaceutical department in collaboration with National Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) also close 25 patient medicine shops for alleged sell of fake and counterfeit drugs.

He also said that the prevalence rate of HIV and AIDS had dropped drastically in Niger from 4.0 per cent in 2012 to 1.2 per cent in 2013.

The commissioner attributed this development to the proactive measures put in place by the ministry to provide medical services to people living with HIV and AIDS.

He said 304,822 people underwent voluntary HIV and AIDS screening with 17,919 of them testing positive.

He said 11,909 out of the 17,919 of those that tested positive were presently receiving free treatment.

Sule said the government would construct two General Hospitals in Lemu and Agwara, headquarters of Gbako and Agwara Local Government Areas.
